Aug 18th 2008 what politics has torn apart may polaroids bring together again

on the left recieved from the place where everything is bigger, on the right sent from the place where everything is…I dunno…pushier.  Click to enlarge, you’ll see the image a little better - the details of the sign and the empire state building get a little lost in the thumbnail.  I wonder if that guy will find himself on teh internets one day.  I like this one because I get a sense of a place I am unfamiliar with, which was part of the idea with other people and nyc.  Send me more polaroids about your hometown.

Jul 28th 2008 cool shades

I got this one from Florida. She swears this house is haunted. My reply is the farmhouse my grandparents lived in, because I am sure it is haunted with the ghosts of many butchered cows that were long past thier prime.

On the left was recieved from Iowa.  On the right is my reply.  Perhaps you will recognize it from the greatest documentary of all time - HIGHLANDER.

Jul 28th 2008 would’ve been better without mickey

Revieved on the left (from Brooklyn, actually a couple blocks away from where a friend of mine lives, which is kinda creepy) and sent on the right. I took this one on the same wall as the previous one. But they were both so perfect!

If you are already in the city, check out the exhibition that I am in (with pictures unrelated to this site). It is at Gallery MC at 549 W52nd st, 8th floor. It runs from July 7-19, with two opening receptions, one on July 10, 6-8pm and one on July 12, 4-6pm. Bring your wallet. With money in it. So you can give it to me. Ok you don’t have to, but there will be free drinks at least.
